Clay

I was born in the French Alps and now divide my time between Dallas, Texas, and Simiane-La-Rotonde in southern France. As a geologist and artist working with clay and glass, I’ve spent years exploring how natural materials can be transformed into contemporary forms.

What I love most about teaching is seeing that same sense of discovery in others. Guiding students through material exploration, technical challenges, and the creative process allows me to share not only skills, but also the excitement of uncovering possibilities they might not have imagined. Watching students develop confidence, solve problems, and find their own artistic voice is the most rewarding part of my practice—it’s why I teach.
