In this creative sewing workshop, you’ll make a Mara Bag — a beautiful version of the traditional Japanese Knot Bag. It’s the perfect handmade gift, or you can use it as a unique fabric gift bag to hold another present. Participants will design and decorate their bag panels using both machine and hand stitching before assembling the finished bag.

This workshop is open to all sewing levels. All materials are provided, including a reusable paper pattern and written step-by-step instructions you can take home and make again. Fabric kits are prepared by the instructor — just bring your creativity and a willingness to play with fabric.
