I am a self-taught polymer clay artist and have worked in that medium for the past 20 years. I teach classes and workshops for beginners through advanced students. It is gratifying to share that “Aha!” moment when a student suddenly understands a process and creates a piece they find satisfying. It’s the process that is more interesting to me than the product though both are important, undoubtedly. Whether viewed as a craft material or one elevated to an art, it’s great fun to create with polymer clay and to see how beautiful the final product can be.
