Lydia Obregon has a Masters degree in Library Science from UNT with an emphasis on Archival studies. Classes included Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation. A tour of the Boston Athenaeum in 2019, which included a stop in their bookbinding lab, led to her looking for bookbinding class in Dallas. She joined the Craft Guild in 2020 and instantly fell in love. Lydia works with a wide range of styles and material and also does some book repair work. 

She teaches Bookbinding All Levels on Thursday evenings.
