Linda Fleming
Weaving
Linda teaches Rigid Heddle Weaving, a form of weaving done on a specialized loom that is ideal for beginners as well as more experienced fiber artists. In this class, students will learn the clasped weft technique on a rigid heddle loom and create a small tote bag using their own handwoven fabric, which they will then complete in the sewing studio.
Linda started weaving about 25 years ago. The weaving bug hit immediately! She has sewn since she was a kid, so it just made sense to put the two things together. Making bags are practical, but they can also be a fun, quick project that you can make with leftover handwoven fabric.
