Two women sitting at a wooden worktable in a jewelry-making workshop. The woman on the left, wearing glasses, a floral top, and a denim apron, is holding a jewelry tool and is surrounded by various jewelry-making tools. The woman on the right, also wearing glasses, is wearing a white t-shirt and is engaged in a conversation. The workshop has wooden workbenches and equipment in the background.

Since discovering my passion for metalsmithing in 2003, I have developed a distinctive jewelry-making style. My work incorporates a variety of techniques, including keum boo, chasing and repoussé, beading, appliqué, and wire weaving. My signature series of maidens, which symbolize women’s spirit, strength, and determination, is widely recognized and appreciated. I take a hands-on approach to teaching jewelry fundamentals, demonstrating techniques, then guiding students through each step while explaining the theory behind the process. I emphasize thoughtful design and creating pieces that are technically sound and visually compelling.
